On Sunday, Oct 8th, 2006 the Central Christian Church in Havana, Illinois held a special Blessing of the Animals ceremony in the parking lot of their church.  While each of the pets tried to be on their best behavior, Rev. Dennis Steckley gave each of them a special blessing, while reminding the owners of the special blessing that The Lord bestows upon them when He entrusts them with the life of one of His creatures.
